What’s your favourite indulgence? A good quality dark chocolate!
What are the top five items you look for when you grocery shop? That’s a tough one because it changes as the seasons change, but my main staples are bananas, free-range eggs, avocado, almonds, and yes, dark chocolate!
What are some of your staple snacks/meals? Banana and almond butter is a daily snack for sure, I love coconut yogurt with berries, or hummus and veggies, and for meals usually a hodge podge of what needs to be used in the fridge, a healthy stir fry, or grilled chicken breast with a big salad and baked sweet potato fries!
Who is in your household that you buy groceries for? My hubby, and my two cats love table scraps (they might secretly be dogs in cat bodies.)
What other causes/events do you support? I sponsor a child through Compassion Canada, give to and volunteer regularly at the awesome church (Celebration Edmonton) my hubby and I attend, and support several local charities like the Edmonton Food Bank.
Is there anything else that you think is important for us to know? I love good food, have a passion for health, and love to see others benefit from the philosophy “Food Is Medicine”! I also believe that supporting local, hard-working farmers through a company like SPUD is fundamental in the health of our city! Go Edmonton!
