What’s your favourite indulgence? Almond butter!!
What are the top five items you look for when you grocery shop? Local, seasonal fruits/veggies, sprouted whole grain bread, nuts, teas, grain-free flours (mostly almond or coconut)
What are some of your staple snacks/meals? My favourite snack right now is almond butter and raw honey on sprouted whole grain toast. For breakfast I usually have poached eggs and bacon on baby greens, or with any kind of cooked veggies (usually leftover from previous night’s dinner). I also make a mean Paleo pumpkin pancake! Dinner usually consists of any kind of protein (free range chicken, grass fed steak, salmon) with seasonal veggies. If I’m looking for a good carb fix, I’ll make brown rice pasta with free-range turkey sausage, spinach, tomato, mushrooms & Kalamata olives.
