Gold Forest Grains is a small, organic, family-run farm. They grow certified organic grains and are a modern wheat free farm. The only varieties of wheat they grow are heirloom or ancient…this is really significant with all those folks who are noticing a sensitivity or outright allergy to wheat products. They have hundreds of customers, unable to eat wheat, who are once more able to enjoy baking made from GFG flour products. Along with heirloom wheat like Park and Red Fife, they also grow lentils, spelt, einkorn, oats, buckwheat and barley and are developing open-pollinated seed stores from heirloom corn and rare types of fava beans and other legumes.
