“I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I care very much about how the kids eat the healthy choices that we are passing on. I’ve got kids that go through a lot of fruit. Like three containers of rasberries, a package of strawberries, a bag of apples, a dozen bananas, a pineapple, a watermelon, a handful of oranges and a large container of grapes a week kind of fruit-eaters. They’re fruit monsters!”

What’s your favourite indulgence? Local chocolate.
What are the top five items you look for when you grocery shop? Fresh squeezed juice, fruit, bagels, granola or nuts, and pasta (until we get good enough at making our own!).
What are some of your staple snacks/meals? chicken alfredo, hummus and carrots, fruit and yogurt, granola, kung pao chicken, chicken paninis, waffles. I cook a lot of home made, unprocessed food for the freezer so it’s easy to cook for two kids in a busy household. I double up on those simple meals like fajitas, so they’re ready in the freezer for busy evenings.
